Dear Customers
We`ve identified a bug with the MailFoundry SPAM appliences we use for email protection; the problem is with a feature called "auto-domains" which we use to automatically map new domains to the MailFoundry servers.
We found that the MailFoundry would loose a domains mapping resulting in delays in email delivery until manually corrected, this was only on a handful of domains but even one is unacceptable by our opinion.
We have been working with the MailFoundry support team to give them a chance to try and resolve the glitch in their software but they`ve been unable to resolve it in an acceptable time frame and we have to put our customers email reliability first.
What’s going to happen to the MailFoundry service?
Firstly, we will still be providing a MailFoundry service as it does do an amazing job at blocking SPAM. We`ve had it confirmed by MailFoundry that the only way that we can use these devices with 100% reliable is to disable the "auto-domain" feature, this means that the MailFoundry service with immediate effect has become an OPT-IN service.
How does this affect me?
We`ve had to disable the MailFoundry service on all accounts today to ensure the reliability of our email service, if you would like to have the MailFoundry re-enabled then all you have to do is send a quick email to support with the list of domains you require it adding too.
Once manually added, your domain will not loose it`s settings on the MailFoundry SPAM server, we understand that it`s an inconvenience having it disabled without any notice but we had to act in the best interests of our customers.
Kind Regards,
Support Department
